2021 Research Project on Female Academics' Career Trajectories

EduLex Research & Consulting received funding for the project “Navigating Your Academic Career as an International PGR Student, particularly for Females with Caring Responsibilities” from the UCL Researcher-Led Initiatives (2021). As one of only nine projects awarded across UCL, it investigated the dilemmas faced by female international doctoral students and proposed strategies for building sustainable academic careers. The study developed a typology of international female PGR trajectories through a human dignity lens, highlighting structural barriers and potential pathways for support.
