2020 Crisis Management in Universities During the Pandemic

EduLex Research & Consulting collaborated on an international project led by Professor Tatiana Fumasoli (UCL, UK), Professor Akiyoshi Yonezawa (Tohoku University, Japan), and Professor Zhou Zhong (Tsinghua University, China). The project investigated the crisis response of UCL and Tohoku University during the Covid-19 pandemic (Nov 2019 – Jun 2020), identifying factors that enabled pioneering, agile, and resilient policies. EduLex contributed by conducting literature reviews, desk research, policy document analysis, interview data analysis, and drafting case study reports, supporting the project’s aim to generate insights for global higher education governance in times of crisis.
